Oklahoma-based Gulfport Energy Corp. has released data on two additional Utica shale wells in eastern Ohio.

The wells are the fourth and eighth biggest-producing wells in the state, based on the data offered by Gulfport.

The Stutzman well in Somerset Township in Belmont County is producing 4,060 barrels of oil equivalents per day.

That includes 21 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, plus 945 barrels per day of natural gas liquids.

The well was drilled to a depth of 9,020 feet with an 8,634-foot horizontal leg.

The well will likely go into production in June when pipelines are completed.

It is fourth in Ohio for production totals.

The Clay well in Harrison County’s Freeport Township is eighth in production.

It is producing 5.9 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, plus 761 barrels of natural gas liquids. That is equal to 2,226 barrels of oil equivalents per day.

The well was drilled to a depth of 7,806 feet with a horizontal leg of 7,372 feet.

It will likely go into full production in April when pipelines are completed.

Ohio’s biggest well is Gulfport Energy’s Shugert well in Belmont County. It is producing 7,482 barrels of oil equivalents per day. That includes 28.5 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, plus 300 barrels of oil and 2,907 barrels of natural gas liquids per day.

To date, Ohio only has company-issued data on a total of 19 wells in the Utica shale.
