Job seeker events next month

Two presentations geared to those hunting for a job are on tap for December at the Hudson Library & Historical Society.

On Dec. 5, Tina Romano-Allen, a career consultant at Cuyahoga Community College, will present Networking for Job Seekers. Her presentation will be at 3 p.m.

On Dec. 10, a type of job interview called the behavioral-based interview will be the topic of co-presenters David Feinerman and Courtney Randall, both involved with human resources, at the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District.

In behavioral-based interviews, the interviewer homes in on the candidate’s personal experience, such as solving problems, setting goals and working as a team member. Participants are asked to bring resumes and responses to traditional interview questions; a list of questions is available online at http://tinyurl.com/ne6qkh.

Other representatives of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District will be on hand to discuss career opportunities with the agency.

To register, go online to www.hudsonlibrary.org and click “Programs & Events/Registration” under the “Adult” tab or call 330-653-6658.

The library is at 96 Library St. in the First & Main shopping complex off state Route 303.
