NORWOOD, OHIO: Ohio’s Republican governor and a veteran Democratic congressman are among business and political leaders scheduled to take part in a forum on the future of manufacturing.
Gov. John Kasich and Rep. Tim Ryan are part of the Wednesday morning session at Siemens’ motor manufacturing facility in the Cincinnati suburb of Norwood. The Atlantic organized the forum on manufacturing, innovation and technology changes, and workforce training.
Kasich is a former congressman seeking re-election as governor this year. Ryan was first elected to Congress in 2002 from the Youngstown area.
Other scheduled participants include Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley and O’dell Owens, president of Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.
