Fair Finance victims have Thursday deadline to speak at sentencing

Fair Finance Co. victims in Ohio have until Thursday to tell court officials in Indianapolis if they will attend the Nov. 30 sentencing date in Indiana for Tim Durham, James Cochran and Rick Snow.

Victims by Thursday may also inform the U.S. government if they want to make an oral statement during the proceedings, or submit a written statement for consideration.

Submit statements to Stephanie Lloyd, Victim Witness Coordinator, 10 W. Market St., Suite 2100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.

Those planning to attend the proceedings may email the U.S. Attorney’s office at usains.webmaster@usdoj.gov. Indicate if you plan on making an oral victim impact statement.

Victims may tell U.S. District Court Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson starting at a separate hearing at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 30 how they were impacted.

Durham is scheduled to be sentenced at 1 p.m.; Cochran at 2:30 p.m., and Snow at 3:30 p.m..

The hearings will be held at the United States Courthouse, Room 307, 46 E. Ohio St., Indianapolis.

Attendance is not required by the court unless a person was issued a subpoena.
