Cedar Fair sells park
Cedar Fair LP announced Tuesday that it has sold a San Diego water park to a subsidiary of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. Terms were not disclosed.
Knott’s Soak City is a stand-alone water park, and Cedar Fair said its sale “has no impact” on the company’s other California properties.
“The net proceeds from this sale will be reinvested in our core assets including the multiyear refreshment of our hotel properties in Sandusky, Ohio, that was announced earlier this month,” Matt Ouimet, Cedar Fair’s president and CEO, said in a statement.
