The Beacon Journal is offering seven-day home delivery of the newspaper to the communities of Strongsville, Brecksville, Broadview Heights, Hinckley, North Royalton and Brunswick. Residents of these areas can sign up for this new service by calling 330-996-3600 or 1-800-877-2442.

“We have heard from residents of these communities who want to read the Beacon Journal,” said Jim DeLuca, vice president for circulation. “With this demand we believe that now is a good time to deliver our newspaper to these readers.”

Single copies of the Beacon Journal also will be available at locations in those communities.

The newspaper is looking for independent contractor carriers to cover these expanded delivery areas. Interested persons should contact Joe Sims at 330-352-5259.

The Akron Beacon Journal is the oldest continuously operating business in Summit County, delivering local news since 1839. The Beacon Journal’s journalism consistently is recognized as being among the best in the state by the Associated Press, Press Club of Cleveland and Ohio Society of Professional Journalists.

The newspaper serves readers in Summit, Medina, Portage, Stark, Wayne and parts of Cuyahoga counties.
